The TEDxNeumann program will run from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm on November 10, 2023.

I. TEDx Talks - TED-style presentations in several sessions

János Neumann University is organizing the TEDxNeumann conference for the first time this year, where students and lecturers at the university, as well as well-known domestic and international researchers and entrepreneurs will present.

Bertalan Farkas, our first astronaut, Gábor Zoboki, who designed the MüPa and renovated the Hungarian Opera House, Petya Balogh, the successful mentor and investor, Szabolcs Megyeri, a horticultural engineer who graduated from NJE, Viktor Dörfler, professor of artificial intelligence, and film expert Viktor Dudás will perform as well as Mayor Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki, Head of the Sharjah Innovation Park Hussain Almahmoudi, South Korea's Smart City Association's Global Project Manager Ellie Lee, HR and Communications Manager Zita Meizl, International Value Expert Mandeep Rai, Data Scientist Granát Marcell, Researcher Dr. Miklós Berczeli, IT Expert László Göcs, Dávid Kis of the NJE Hydrogen Technology Knowledge Center and Szabó Lóránt, director of the NJE MI Knowledge Center.

II. Companion programs

In addition to the lectures, on November 10, TEDxNeumann awaits its participants with exciting podium discussions, fine art presentations, an interactive VR room - where the unique John Neumann - Kármán Tódor VR application can be experienced -, a stock market simulation workshop, a presentation of innovative means of transport and a unique exhibition compiled from János Neumann's original letters.

Among the art events offered by the event is the presentation of the Kecskemétfilm studio, known for the animated series Hungarian folktales and the Vizipók-csodapók, among others, the public viewing of Barabasi Lab's "dataist" Nature 150 series, the presentation of the Kecskemét International Ceramics Studio, the K-Arts art bringing the foundation's artefacts up close, as well as the performance of dancers from the Kecskemét City Ballet.

III. TEDxNeumann After - opportunity to meet the speakers and creators of the day

Did you fall in love with the ideas heard during the lectures? Were you impressed by the exhibited works? Stay a little longer to meet and talk to our performers and creators! From four in the afternoon, we offer you an informal, free opportunity to meet, get to know each other and talk!
